Nestled within South Ribble's charming streets are some of the best restaurants, pubs and café's that will happily cater to every palate. Whether you're a fan of hearty British classics, international cuisine, or modern gastronomic trends, South Ribble has it all.
Med 3 is an amazing example of the international cuisine our borough has to offer, bringing flavours from all over the Mediterranean to you.
It is a sequence of restaurants that is South Ribble through and through, with venues in Leyland and Bamber Bridge.
Their Mediterranean tapas selection is to die for, bringing you options from Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy to enjoy and transport you to somewhere new for the evening.
If it's British classics you're after, you need to head over to Little Hoole and into Ego at The Fox Club.
It is located in a typically South Ribble setting - among the trees, on a country road and surrounded by an open landscape.
The food they offer is priced like a British pub classic but it is served as you would expect at a Michelin starred experience. Their lunch menu is home to fish and chips, steak and ale pie and roasted chicken supreme, all costing under £12.
When we think of gastronomic trends, our mind goes straight to Penwortham and 1260 Craft and Crust.
The industrial themed restaurant pays homage to its roots with the décor while testing out the trends of the day. With a range of local and more adventurous craft beers to choose from, you can find a new tipple while enjoying their stunning Neapolitan style pizza.
There are all sorts of adventurous pizza toppings and accompaniments for you to select, just choose yours and wait to see it removed from their huge stone pizza oven.

Holme Farm Dairies hosts monthly food events, inviting local mobile food vendors to the farm to accompany the regular market and their own products.
This is one of the region's favourite days out as it encapsulates the community spirit of South Ribble as traders, businesses and farmers all serve from the same place.
